ನೀವು ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯ ವೃತ್ತ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಓದುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಅಥವಾ ದೂರದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸಾರವಾಗುವ ವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಸೊರಬ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ದಂಡಾವತಿ ಅಣೆಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲೇ ಕೇಳಿರುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಇಲ್ಲವಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಕೇಳುತ್ತೀರಿ/ಓದುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪದಿನವಾದರೂ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಸುದ್ದಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಅನಿಸಿಕೆ.

ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಪರ/ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ/ಭಿನ್ನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳು ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ.

‘ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವ ಹೋದರೂ ಅಣೆಕಟ್ಟು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಮಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಬೇಡ, ವಿಷ ಕೊಡಿ’ ಎಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಆಕ್ರೋಶಗೊಂಡು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.

Centre has not approved the project, says Bangarappa

“How can the project be implemented when there is no approval [for it] from the Centre and no survey has been taken up”? he said and added that compensation had not been fixed for the land to be acquired for the project.

The List of Projects on the official website of Water Resources Department, Government of Karnataka does not mention this project!!

ನಾನಿನ್ನೂ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಕಲೆಹಾಕುವ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಈ ವಿಷಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ಈಗ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಷ್ಟೆ. ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿದ್ದರೆ ಓದಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಿದ್ದರೆ ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ.

P.S: ನಾನು ಕೂಡ ಸೊರಬ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನವನೆ. ಮುಳುಗಲಿರುವ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು ನಮ್ಮೂರಿಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಹತ್ತಿರವೋ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ನನ್ನ ಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಹತ್ತಿರ.

2008ರ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ಒಂದರಿಂದ ಮೊನ್ನೆರಾತ್ರಿಯ ತನಕವೂ $5 ರ ಎಡಬಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರಳಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸೈಪ್ರೆಸ್’ಸ್ ಶೇರು ಇಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ 26.34!!


ಯಾಕೆ, ಏನು, ಎತ್ತ ಒಂದನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಯಲಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಮುಂದಿನ news update ಸಿಗುವವರೆಗೂ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ/ಗೊಂದಲ/ಅನುಮಾನಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಬದುಕಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ.

ಒಂದುವೇಳೆ ಇದು ನಿಜವೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ತುಂಬಾ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು. ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ, Google Finance ಕೊಡುವ ಅಂಕಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಳ ನಿಖರತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೇ ಅನುಮಾನ ಶುರುವಾದೀತು.

ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಕಾದು ನೋಡುವ ತಂತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಶರಣಾಗಿ, ಕಳೆದುಳಿದ ಚೂರು ವೀಕೆಂಡಿನತ್ತ ಚಿತ್ತ ಹರಿಸುವಂತವನಾಗುತ್ತೇನೆ..

Update: Apparently this was a Google finance screw up and there is no mention of it on their official blog.
